We want to thank everyone who came out to support 'Help Roberto.' Your generosity and compassion for Roberto will never be forgotten. We also want to thank Chick-Fil-A for having the benefit night and we look forward to a long friendship together with them. We sold many t-shirts and bracelets and educated a lot of people about CIPA, Roberto shook a lot of hands and made lasting impressions on people. He did get too hot at one point and had to have his shirt and shoes off. Roberto had a wonderful time and we are that much closer to his therapy swimming pool. God Bless You All!

Here are Juan and Luis wearing Miracles Happen, www.HelpRoberto.com bracelets. They are very proud of them. You can purchase your very own bracelet at the Wea Summer Recreation Baseball Fields for $2.00 each. All proceeds go to the Help Roberto fund to get Roberto his therapy swimming pool.

Roberto graduates from Pre-Kindergarten

Today was a momentous day for Roberto, a day some doctors predicted would never come. Today Roberto graduated from Pre-K with a program where he sang his heart out. I was so proud, he brought tears to my eyes, if only you all could have seen him.

Roberto and His Brothers get a Puppy

Roberto, Luis and Juan recently got a Jack Russell Terrier. His name is Jack. Roberto calls him "Captain Jack" after Captain Jack Sparrow from Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean, which was all three of the boys favorite ride at Walt Disney World in Florida. Jack and Roberto love playing with each other.

Big Thanks to Del Real Auto Sales for allowing Help Roberto to display information at the First Annual Latino Festival in Lafayette on April 28, 2007. We educated a lot of people about Roberto and CIPA, and handed out many quick cards.

As of today, the three Purdue students who have helped make Roberto's website, blog, and all marketing materials are readying their final presentation. Tomorrow morning make sure you go out and get the Journal & Courier, read the article about Roberto, and tell your friends. Today was a powerful day for the Help Roberto Campaign. Many businesses on the south side of Lafayette were more than willing to have canisters for donations and displays of quick cards within their stores. Welcome everyone to Roberto's website! We are having what most people call a wonderful spring after the very cold winter we experienced. Unfortunately for Roberto it is warming up outside very quickly and yesterday it got to the point that it was too hot for Roberto to play outside. It is hard watching him watch other children through a window having fun playing and doing the things that he wants to do. And yes the air conditioning in now on at our house. Please, with your support and donations we can get Roberto the therapy pool he needs that will allow him to increase his muscle strength, burn off his hyperactivity - SAFELY!, and keep him walking as long as possible.
